Kim O. Nguyen is a comedy director born in Vietnam and raised in Chicago. She directs features, episodic, and commercials. Her episodic projects include directing episodes of Never Have I Ever, The Other Two, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Fresh Off The Boat, Superstore, Survival of the Thickest, and Mr. Mayor, as well as commercial campaigns featuring Taylor Swift, Rashida Jones, Tracee Ellis Ross, John Cena, and Reese Witherspoon. Her feature film, PROM DATES, was released on HULU in May 2024 where it received 40 million views within its first week becoming its #1 viewed film. It was also nominated for a Writers Guild of America Award.
She currently resides in Los Angeles and is represented for features and television by United Talent Agency. She is represented for commercial work by Bob Industries.
